Blogger Crush: Rosie (The Londoner)

Sooo I don't know why I've been waiting to post this for so long since I'm genuinely obsessed with this London blogger. If you don't know her by now, (I feel like I do apparently since my friends and I just refer to her as Rosie like we're old friends), please get acquainted here. The obsession is as follows...

Reason 1: Her style.

Reason 2: Her amazing food photography and recipe postings. (I love her photographic eye!)

(Numbers 3 & 4 may come from a place of serious envy, but are worth reading her blog if you share the same wanderlust that I do!)

Reason 3: She travels extensively and captures cultures so beautifully.

Reason 4: (and this is a huge one for me) She gets to call London home and explores it so often.

This last photograph pretty much sums up her blog: great outfits & delicious food shot beautifully.

If I haven't convinced you to read her blog yet, perhaps you should check out her Instagram. Here's an idea of what you'll see!

Hope you've enjoyed these photos/this post!

Big & Little's

My camera is currently in the shop so pardon the low quality of pics, I'll keep this post short & sweet. I had a catch up lunch with my dearest friend Annabelle last week and just needed to share our feast with you. We ordered half of Big & Little's menu.

As serious french fry connoisseur's, Belle and I agreed to get two different types so we could try each other's. She opted for the truffle fries and I went with just the plain ol' classic. Can't go wrong with either.

The fresh ahi tuna taco...oh my lanta. With a drizzle of fresh lemon and the amazing teryaki sauce that's hiding on the inside of that shell...ooohhwee that's one spicy meat-a-ball!

Opted for one carnitas taco with fresh cilantro

I tried one of the specials, the pinto bean taco with fresh cilantro and queso fresco. I'm a big fan of this little joint so not to worry, there will be future pics I'm sure.

Oh and p.s. a word to the wise - go for lunch to avoid the crowds. I've been for dinner and it's dreadful, especially in the heat!

Shake Shack

Covent Garden is quickly becoming one of my favorite areas in London and this obsession only grew when I learned there is a Shake Shack here. They just opened up shop in July and are a huge success already–can ya see why!

The Refinery

As we strolled along the river, we wanted a bite to eat before seeing a performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre (which I really reccomend doing even if you aren't a huge theater person like myself!). Somehow we stumbled upon  The Refinery and cozied in for a little nosh and a few drinks.
