bopNgrill

Burger lovers everywhere: be warned. bopNgrill is deliciously addicting and unique. As seen on the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, bopNgrill does not mess around. Not to mention, they have endless bottles of Sriracha <3

how is this the first time I'm trying this?

I got the bNg burger: fried egg, 1000 island dressing, jalapenos, sharp cheddar, bacon, romaine, grilled onions, tomato

Kimchi fries to share: caramelized kimchi, cheese, bacon, scallions, sesame seeds

Beer battered onion rings to share as well

bopNgrill was delicious, I'm dying to try the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls next visit! check them out!

Strawberry Banana Muffins

Got any gross overly ripe bananas? Use them for some banana nut bread or this yummy breakfast treat!

Combine 1 3/4 cups flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt in a small bowl. In a bigger bowl, beat 5 tbsp. unsalted butter, then add 2/3 cup sugar, then 2 eggs, and 2 tsp. vanilla.

Strain the strawberries to ensure all the water is out. I know this seems silly, but the muffins won't turn out right if you bake them with too much water. Combine the berries with your mushy bananas & then with your wet butter & egg mixture. Gradually add this to the bowl of dry mixture and then to your muffin liners!

Bake at 350° F for about 15 minutes. Recipe makes about a dozen muffins.

Our delicious muffins went perfectly with a ton of scrambled eggs & veggies

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Asia on Argyle

Jaclyn and I have been meaning to try any of the places off the Argyle stop, or the "sweater stop" as Jac calls it, because we've been craving authentic Vietnamese food. Needless to say, our expectations were surpassed as we ventured in to a small spot around the corner from the train stop.

veggie & tofu soup the size of my head

a very interesting thin pancake with pork, shrimp, and sprouts

spring rolls with pork, shrimp, and deliciousness

thick rice noodles (my fav) with beef & veggies

anyplace that has a jumbo bottle of Sriracha ranks high in my book
