Plow

avocado toast with a poached egg on Acme sourdough

lemon ricotta pancake + pure maple syrup

smoked salmon toast with capers

dungeness crab scramble with the best crispy potatoes

Plow is one of my favorite spots in the city, and I might even go as far as saying, the best brunch in San Francisco. I've never been disappointed with anything on their menu and am obsessed with the interior of their space, so it was a no brainer that my mom and I dined here for our first meal back in the states! The only downside is going on a weekend because you'll be waiting for a table for years and on a Saturday or Sunday morning, that's the last thing I want to be doing. Go during the week (closed Mondays) and mosey through your cups of coffee and lemon ricotta pancakes instead of being rushed.

p.s. thought this list was very accurate upon my arrival home

flowers & food

This post is dedicated to two of my favorite things, flowers and food, all in my hometown of San Francisco, which is probably my favorite thing of all. If you're from the bay, you know SF doesn't mess around when it comes to food. All types, we have it covered...it's a foodie's paradise. When it comes to flowers, we aren't too shabby either! I visited the Japanese Tea Garden (discount for SF residents) and the Botanical Gardens (free for SF residents!) in Golden Gate Park for the first time and was in complete awe of the natural scenery in such a busy city. If you're in Golden Gate Park, check either out, after visiting the de Young and the Conservatory of Flowers. If you feel like dining instead of sight-seeing, check out Roam Burger or Ragazza for some delicious grub.

sushirrittttto

I've been dying to try Sushirrito for months because I've heard nothing but good things and have seen far too many photos, so I decided to finally make a plan and try it. All I can say is, all expectations were met, and then some.

I ordered Geisha's Kiss: Yellowfin Tuna (Hand-Caught), Tamago, Piquillo Peppers, Yuzu Tobiko, Lotus Chips, Cucumber, Butter Lettuce, Avocado, Green Onions, Sauce: Sesame White Soya

Jac ordered The Yakuza: Kampachi Sashimi (Hawaiian White Fish), Spicy Jicama, Cucumber, Butter Lettuce, Red Tobiko, Avocado, Green Onions, Sauce: Citrus Mojo

We couldn't resist the lava nachos either...Brown Rice Chips topped with Tuna Picante, Melted Pepper Jack Cheese, Avocado, Green Onions, Nori Strips, Sriracha Aioli

Sriracha Aioli: yes please!

They're only open from 11-3 so there are some lunch hour lines, but definitely worth the wait! Check them out: http://www.sushirrito.com
