As a welcome home celebration, my friends and I decided to hop in the car and drive over the bridge to Stinson Beach to enjoy the gorgeous day the Bay Area had today. The scenic drive over is enough of a reminder of how fortunate I am to call this beautiful part of California home.

great food, company, and sunshine. 70 degrees the day before Thanksgiving and beautiful California, what more can you ask for?

Come on...seriously Ca! Stunning sunset and coastal views.

wishing you all safe travels home, wherever home may be – plus love and health for the holiday.

plane playlist

As many of you are keenly aware, Thanksgiving is upon us and I am flying home tonight to celebrate with my friends and family in San Francisco. I'm itching for a break and to escape this frigid Chicago weather. For the plane, I threw together a short playlist that I want to share with you.
Happy listening and happy holiday.
(each of the songs are linked up to YouTube & here's the 8tracks playlist)

YOU lot should all head over to my TumBLRRRR page and check out what pretty pictures have been catching my eye lately. Reblog away:

((Jaclyn and I are curious, who ever wears their coat like this... Clearly not people in Chicago since we just got hit with terrible weather and the cold is sadly here to stay.))

It's been quite awhile since I've posted any outfit pictures on here, quite honestly because it's been so cold here and I haven't had the time. But at last, here are some shots of my new favorite TopShop piece. Absolutely in love with the color of it, plus it furthers my love of fur/slight coat obsession that is forming...

inspired by

This weekend was quite the lazy one, spent lounging in my bed, reading, and watching films. I watched The Other Woman, Garden State, and Stuck In Love, which I really enjoyed. For once, Natalie Portman didn't bother me in either Garden State or The Other Woman. There are some heavy moments in both of those so if that's not your style, you'll find a great story in Stuck In Love. (Plus all 3 are on Netflix!) In my state of laziness, I've thrown together some images that have been decorating my walls and laptop desktop lately that I find particularly inspiring.

I hope you all had a great weekend!
