Tivoli Gardens

For those of you who love places like Disneyland or any other over the top amusement parks with rides and shops, you owe it all to Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen. The park opened in 1843, making it the second oldest amusement park in the world. On a trip with his wife, Walt Disney was inspired after visiting the park and decided to create the same sense of wonder and imagination. Regardless of your feelings toward all things Disney, Tivoli really takes the cake for creating a space to simply have fun. Kels and I had an absolute great time, laughing till we cried (literally on one ride this happened), and marveling at the amazing Christmas decorations.

I'm not a huge fan of roller coasters, especially ones that toss you upside down, but Kels somehow talked me into going on this beast...

Yes that's us being flung around
